How It Works
The charge controller regulates power from your panels to your batteries. MPPT controllers are 95-97% efficient and can convert higher panel voltage to lower battery voltage. PWM controllers are simpler and cheaper but only 75-80% efficient. Size your controller by dividing total panel watts by battery voltage and adding a 25% safety margin.
